A safe, confidential space to explore, heal, and grow.

Counselling and mentoring tailored to your needs — grounded in a person-centred approach.

Welcome – I’m glad you’re here

Reaching out for help can feel like a big step, and you might be wondering what to expect.

My role is to offer a safe, supportive space where we can talk openly and without judgement, and explore the challenges faced, and find ways forward.

You don’t need to go through difficulties alone. I can support you with:

How I Can Help

My approach is person-centred: I believe you are the expert on you, and by giving you a safe, non-judgemental space to talk I’ll be able to help you gain clarity, build resilience and feel more connected to yourself and others.

Mentoring is about consistent, relational support and differs from counselling or coaching by being a blend of both: a space to explore emotions and setting goals. In this way mentoring is relational, practical, and gives young people the encouragement, accountabiliy and trust they need to grow.

I’m Zainab

I’ve spent over 12 years working alongside Social Services and professional networks such as CAMHS, the NHS, police, schools, and Neurodivergent Services, so I understand the many different pressures people face.

I’m both a CPCAB qualified Level 4 Therapeutic Counsellor, and a Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (Accredited), having built up over 200 hours of one-to-one counselling experience during my training.

My work has taken me into a variety of settings – from supporting young people through Early Help services at local community centres and at The BRIT School (working with both high-achieving and hard-to-reach students aged 14–18), to counselling LGBTQI+ adults at London Friend, a charity that’s been providing vital support since 1970, where I continue to offer counselling services.

My Approach

I believe counselling and mentoring work best when it feels like a genuine connection.

I’ll meet you where you are, and we’ll work at your pace. Some sessions may feel emotional, others may focus on practical tools to cope – often it’s a blend of both.

My aim is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as you find your way forward. I work in a person-centred way which allows you total control of the sessions.

Taking the first step can feel daunting, but it could also be the start of something really positive. If you’d like to find out more, I offer an initial chat so we can see if working together feels right for you.
